Celebrate Recovery
Many people struggle with various areas of addictions. Within the church many go “underground” thinking that they need to hide. However, here at The Crossing we believe that God offers healing and freedom from addictions! There is HOPE!!
Celebrate Recovery combines the traditional 12-steps, as developed for Alcoholics Anonymous by Bill Wilson and Dr. Bob Smith, with 8 principals which are based in the Beatitudes found in the Christian Scripture (Matthew 5:1-12). As we work the 12-steps and combine the biblical principles we begin to grow spiritually. We begin a road to recovery and freedom from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors.
Celebrate Recovery begins with worship and teaching in a large group setting. From there we transition into small groups which are gender and issue specific.
The Celebrate Recovery program was developed at Saddleback Church by John Baker. For more information on the history of Celebrate Recovery please visit the national Celebrate Recovery web-site at www.celebraterecovery.com.

NEW! Celebration Station: Since May 3 we have been offering Celebration Station, a program especially designed for children 5-13 years old. This program runs concurrently with Celebration Recovery; while adults explore topics that bring healing and wholeness, kids can discover the same truths in age-appropriate ways!
Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday at 7:00pm in Room 308.
